As my Mondeo has the standard halogen reflector headlamps, I was looking to upgrade to the headlamps with halogen projectors that come with the AFS halogen system as I think they look far better and should have a better beam pattern. I came across a set on eBay but I wasn't sure whether they were the halogen projector

Will need the radio code and have to reset the one-touch windows but it can cure a few issues. Alternatively, a modified ELM327 cable and Forscan will show you what is causing the warning light and let you reset it, assuming what's caused it in the first place is fixed. The fault will lie in the engine wiring loom between the fan and the PCM. (violet wire ) The reason you get 4.44 volts with it dissconnected is the wire isn't loaded /connected therefore the voltage isn't doing any work. Strip this loom back and repair any corroded eiribg that is eveident.
