Land Rover Discovery 2 air suspension. Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on common problems with the air suspension on the Disco 2. I have a 2002 Td5 with 210 000km on the clock. I bought 2 new air supension springs and fitted them yesterday. The reason I replaced is that ever morning when I got to the car it was deflated
DRIVING ON HILLS. Going uphill, approach the hill straight on and use the highest gear possible. Never turn the vehicle on a steep slope. Going downhill, engage Hill Descent Control.
There are aftermarket super duper airbags but they dont do any more than standard, apart from maybe give a higher ride height if you upgrade the the other parts and reset the suspension height. Personally a standard vehicle with standard of the shelf parts is my requirement. Check out "Island 4x4", "DLS Land Rover" and "Paddock Land Rover Spares"W64cs.
