Open Portal RTX's Steam Library page. Click the cog, Click "Properties". Under "Launch Options", type "-game hl1" (if you own Half-Life 2 you can put hl2, although it is buggier) Your properties window should look like this: Now, Portal RTX should be configured to launch Half-Life Source. Launch it and bask in the glory of RTX Half-Life.

It's really weird. It is probably input lag. A common problem with V-Sync. More fps - less inputlag. You dont really need to cap it. I find CS:GO I need 0, some games say Half-Life: Source would result in 2 l337 fps with 0. So I turn to say 121/300. V-sync caps at 60fps, you cannot change that for my knowledge.

Add a comment. 1. Assuming this is the Steam version of HL1 you can. Go to Properties by right clicking on the game in your library. Select Set Launch Options. Enter -window -noborder -width [native width of monitor] -height [native height of monitor] without the brackets. This fixed the problem for me. Share.
