Open your Guild Wars 2 folder. Right-click on GW2.exe and select Create Shortcut. Right-click on GW2.exe - Shortcut and select Rename. Rename the shortcut to Guild Wars 2 Logging. Right-click on Guild Wars 2 Logging and select Properties. Locate the Target line and add -log after the existing text.
A high but stable ping is not that bad. You get used to it automaticaly adjust for it without noticing it too much. If the ping is unstable it's much more annoying. There is definitly a difference in low ping (250) but it's not an fps shooter and the game is still playable.

Hello, yesterday I had an issue with Guild Wars 2 patch download where it was stuck but the launcher was downloading something, I left it for about 2 hours and files remaining were the same but the launcher had downloaded 4GB by that point. So I deleted the game and tried downloading it again but
The problem is the patch servers can host incomplete files. If a specific file is 10 MB for example, the server may only have the first 5 MB of it. When GW2 goes to download this file, its length doesn't match what it expected so it tries again and again ( sample from 2020 ). 1KsO.
