The 125 ecoboost engine can produce 202bhp with a remap and a turbo from the 1.6 ecoboost, as proven with the formula ford. Not sure how that would effect the engines lifetime thou! :-P. The same engine in the focus has had a bluefin upgrade producing 150bhp.

A brand new ecoboost engine from Ford is £2500 and about 8 to 10 ours work to fit, so probably another £1400 in labour costs. There is no easy fix to your problem. Yes, as UNOFIX says, you have debris in the oil ways. 1 Fit a new engine AND turbocharger - not viable due to age/value of car.
